While I can’t predict the future, I can in the present recognize the intense similarities between the two polarizing issues — slavery in the past and abortion in the present.
Succinct and reasoned. My mother pointed out that contradiction to me in the 70’s insofar as a child killed by violence upon the mother was protected by the law. All while she saw the problem of a child being born who was not wanted. As the decades have gone by since Roe v Wade, we have seen the creep of acceptance of abortion deeper and deeper into the term of the baby. And now, we are seeing politicians and regular folks trying to, not cajole, but demand the “right” to allow such a monstrous idea. Virginia tried to do it. We have the receipts then and now. What have they become that they cannot see their own monstrosity, and although I hate to use the word, cannot see the sin?
