Ukraine never stood a chance against Russia. And everyone knew it. Especially the Biden Administration. So why did we send unknown billions of dollars to Ukraine to fund a war that everyone knew Ukraine could never win? And what exactly was our objective in doing so?
President Trump recently posted that the United States has sent $350 billion dollars to Ukraine, two hundred billion more than all contributing European countries, combined. It has now been three years since Russia invaded Ukraine in February of 2022 and anywhere from 30,000 to 80,000 (or more) Ukrainian troops are dead. Russian troops occupy twenty percent of Ukraine at present.
Again, what is the objective? Perhaps I missed it, but to date I have never heard a single U.S. politician cheerleading this war effort explicitly articulate it. All we’ve heard since the war began is some bumper sticker slogan about standing with Ukraine. Russia bad, Ukraine good!
The fat, short comedian turned Ukrainian President Zelenskyy shows up dressed like U.S. Senator John Fetterman if he were to discover designer leisure wear, demands money, and U.S. politicians reach into our pockets and hand over our wallets to him.
No amount of financial aid, or shipments of U.S. artillery, bombs, tanks, fighter jets, or other weapons are going to change the outcome. Ukraine is losing. The only thing that could change the tide is fighting the Russians ourselves. In other words, deploying the U.S. military to Ukraine.
And while I adamantly oppose this, why aren’t the pom pom waving U.S. politicians and propagandists in the media demanding it? I can only assume they want to drive the Russians out of Ukraine. If this is the objective, then why aren’t they calling for it?
Because it’s a scam.
First and foremost, Ukraine isn’t an independent country. That’s the first great lie. Yes, I know it became ‘independent’ in 1991, following the collapse of the Soviet Union. But ever since, the corrupt eastern European neighbor of Russia has been nothing more than a U.S. pawn.
In 2004, the United States vocally supported the invalidation of the Ukrainian Presidential election on the grounds of a stolen election. How ironic! The pro-Russian Yanukovych won, the pro-western Yushchenko organized protests, the Ukrainian Supreme Court ordered a re-do election, and Yushchenko was then declared the winner, instead.
But let’s just assume it was stolen. You know, like the 2020 Presidential election in the United States.
Viktor Yanukovych, who allegedly stole the 2004 election in Ukraine, ran again in 2010, miraculously won, and this time the ‘international election observers’ decided the election had been fair.
But in 2014, the United States backed a coup to force him out of office. His crime? He reneged on an agreement with the European Union and decided to accept an agreement with Moscow, instead.
In Ukraine, foreign powers get to decide when elections are stolen, who is declared the winner, and even reserve the right to replace duly elected Ukrainian Presidents when they make independent decisions that the EU and United States don’t approve of.
So, no, Ukraine is not an independent country. Duly elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was ousted in February of 2014 to prevent him from making a deal with Russia. Guess when Russia invaded and then annexed Crimea? February and March of 2014. Apparently, Russia doesn’t like it when foreign nations stage coups in Ukraine to sabotage their sovereignty to enter into voluntary agreements with Ukraine.
Now, none of this is to say that Putin is good. He’s not. But two wrongs don’t make a right. And if anything, it’s become crystal clear that the U.S. Government is corrupt itself. President Trump and the Elon Musk-led DOGE have aired the dirty laundry of the political elite in Washington—showing the American people how they launder U.S. tax dollars to themselves via USAID and other federal bureaucracies, for example.
Intent aside, it was very convenient for corrupt U.S. politicians like former President and vegetable Biden that Russia invaded Ukraine in February of 2022. Why? First and foremost, it took attention away from the Burisma scandal and increasing attention on what exactly the U.S. had been doing in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian energy company Burisma paid Hunter Biden $1 million dollars per year to sit on the board. When Ukraine’s top prosecutor Viktor Shokin began investigating Burisma for corruption, then-Vice President Biden intervened—ordering the President of Ukraine to fire him, threatening to withhold billions in U.S. tax dollars if he did not comply.
Why would a U.S. Vice President involve himself in an investigation of a Ukrainian energy company being conducted by a Ukrainian prosecutor? Imagine a Canadian or Chinese or French or any other foreign leader telling a U.S. President to fire the U.S. attorney general because the AG was investigating corruption at Exxon Mobile. It’s so absurd you cannot imagine it. It would be insane.
President Trump was impeached in 2019 after he asked President Zelenskyy to look into this very absurd and obviously corrupt incident. Why were Democrats and U.S. politicians so unnerved by Trump’s own nascent investigation into American corruption in Ukraine?
That’s the answer: American corruption in Ukraine. Ukraine has been used effectively as an offshore bank account for the political elite in America, a far off location with little to no oversight in Eastern Europe, where the very corruption and money laundering now uncovered in D.C. by DOGE has likely also been taking place…for decades.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine had the effect of memory holing Burisma and the logical conclusion that Joe Biden was not the only U.S. politician exploiting Ukraine for personal financial gain.
DOGE has determined that trillions of U.S. tax dollars cannot be traced. Trillions just vanished, in other words. Poof! Where did the money go? Musk’s efforts to audit the U.S. treasury and access the payment systems are being blocked by a federal judge. Follow. The. Money. This isn’t just the routine ‘military industrial complex’ at work. This is corruption at an unimaginable scale.
DOGE must likewise investigate where the hundreds of billions of dollars sent to Ukraine have ended up. The answer to why U.S. politicians have been funding the futile war in Ukraine against Russia can be found here. I am certain.
Isn’t it curious that no effort has previously been made to audit how our billions have been spent in Ukraine? If a hundred billion dollars failed to help Ukraine beat back Russia, what sane person would conclude that another hundred billion should be contributed, without demanding proof or evidence that the first hundred billion was being spent strategically, wisely, or effectively?
A sane person would do no such thing. Unless, of course, the objective was never to ‘win’ the war anyway.
This war should have ended shortly after it began—before hundreds of billions were sent to Ukraine and before tens of thousands of Ukrainians died for nothing.
President Zelenskyy should have made a deal with Russian President Putin three years ago. Instead, the United States funded the futile war and ensured that it persisted. Because Zelenskyy is the Joe Biden of Ukraine—a puppet of the U.S. political class.
Now there’s a new Sheriff in town—President Trump. And he has the sense to end this madness. Ukraine can’t win. The United States is not going to intervene and fight the war for Ukraine, and thus there is only one possible outcome. A deal must be reached and that deal will require concessions by the loser, Ukraine. Stupid wars have consequences.
President Zelenskyy is now courting the European Union to intervene, searching desperately for another solution. But this isn’t Ukraine’s war. It is America’s war because we have paid for it. This would have ended three years ago if we hadn’t ‘itervened.’ Zelenskyy would have had no choice but to actually be the leader of the country and reach a deal.
Zelenskyy has two options, as do we. He can sit his short, fat ass down with the United States and Russia and make a deal. Maybe he gives up five percent or ten percent of the twenty percent of land that Russia already holds.
Or, we can walk away and let him put all his hope in the inferior and powerless nations in Europe—like France—to rescue him. Is Europe going to commit itself to waging a hot war against Russia on Zelenskyy’s behalf? Are they going to reach a better deal with Putin than the United States can?
In either scenario, Zelenskyy owes us money. Every cent we’ve sent Ukraine must be paid back to us, with interest.
The best case scenario for Zelenskyy is working with President Trump. If not, let it become Europe’s problem, if they are so set on ‘saving’ Ukraine.
Either way, Zelenskyy is a failure. A mediocre former comedian incapable of running a country. The blood of his countrymen is on his hands. And those in the United States who cheered him on.
The conservative estimates of death are much higher reported for Ukraine/1 million +, up to 100,000/Russia.
