My wife and I were in Big Sur, CA staying at a fancy hotel on election night back in 2016. We weren’t married yet. We ordered room service and lit a fire in our hotel room as we settled in to watch the election results come in. I didn’t manage to open the flue in the fireplace correctly and we nearly smoked ourselves out.
I remember the feeling the following morning even more than I do the feeling that night or early morning. We were elated and then passed out in the bed—the celebration and sensation muted by the need to sleep. But at breakfast it began to sink in. As we sat outside I took notice of the depressed faces and muted conversations surrounding us. We’d won but were surrounded by pathetic, morose Democrats. It was glorious. We were a minority of jubilant human beings in a den of whiny losers.
Trump wasn’t supposed to win in 2016. In fact, the media told us we could be certain he’d lose. But he didn’t. He defeated Hillary Clinton in a landslide, humiliating her and Democrats across the country. She never got over it. Nor did Democrats or the media who gloated ahead of the results.
They didn’t accept the election results. Protests were staged not just nationwide but worldwide. Violent and rabid Democrats rioted from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. Protestors sang obscenities in the streets, screamed, and chanted “Not my president.” On Trump’s inauguration day the mob of Clinton election deniers lit cars on fire and vandalized businesses in our capitol. Several police were injured and hospitalized.
Their opposition to Trump was rooted in irrational hatred then and its only grown deeper and more irrational since. There’s even a name for it—Trump derangement syndrome, a very real mental illness.
At the time Americans didn’t know how much danger we were in and how important Trump’s unlikely victory was in preventing a rapid Democrat led assault on our ‘democracy.’ We’ve since witnessed their insipid designs as we’ve suffered under a Biden-Harris administration for nearly four full years.
Clinton conceded in 2016 only to spend the rest of her life and certainly Trump’s first term calling him an illegitimate President, demanding that we shred the Constitution by eliminating the electoral college, and pushing the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. “Trump stole the election with the knowing aid of Putin,” Democrats claimed.
Democrats continued to attack our ‘democracy’ for the entirety of Trump’s presidency. It started with the Mueller investigation—a $32 million dollar tax payer funded witch hunt to find evidence of Trump-Russia collusion; evidence, which was never uncovered because it had been a coup invented by the Clinton campaign and DNC and approved by the outgoing Obama administration. The FBI had already determined it to be a lie. Nevertheless Democrats and even RINO’s persisted in vain in their quest to prove it.
As that fizzled out, Democrats impeached Trump over ‘quid pro quo’—another hoax. Trump had simply asked Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to look into well known Biden-Ukrainian corruption. Ironically it had been Biden, who had engaged in quid pro quo as Vice President when he ordered the then-ukrainian President to fire the lead prosecutor, who was investigating corruption at Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, which employed his son hunter.
Trump survived the impeachment and was found not guilty in the Senate. This only further outraged Democrats and emboldened them to continue their jihad to destroy Trump—all aimed at overturning the election results and the will of the people; to ‘Watergate’ Trump as they’d done successfully with President Nixon.
In 2020 we watched as Democrats stole the election in front of our faces. Trump’s victory tonight in 2024 is the greatest evidence yet of their treachery. Kamala Harris, who has been defeated in humiliating fashion won’t come anywhere near the supposed 81 million votes that Biden received in 2020—the supposed most popular President in American history.
Obama received just under 66 million votes in his re-election in 2012 and Hillary Clinton nearly the same in 2016. Trump received more than 74 million in 2020. Yet somehow, Joe Biden, who campaigned from his basement got 81 million.
At present Harris has only gotten 63 million votes. When all is said and done and all the outstanding votes finally tallied she will be lucky to get 70 million. More than likely Harris will receive a similar number as Obama and Clinton—66 or 67 million. In any case, nowhere near the 81 million Biden is said to have gotten.
Democrat support has remained stagnant while Trump’s has expanded and soared—which is consistent with his appeal to the Reagan Democrats and others, who might not even have been politically active until Trump came on the scene like a flash of lightning—only Trump’s presence or popularity never disappeared but rather has remained and grown.
Truthfully, I expected Trump to win tonight. I resisted declaring it forcefully due to what I’d witnessed in 2020. But I maintained that 2020 was a sham and felt relatively confident that Democrats couldn’t repeat the Big Steal of 2020. And as I watched the results come in it felt like 2016 rather than 2020.
The sensationalism and ‘joy’ surrounding the Harris campaign was always manufactured; that is to say not real. Not only was she the worst Presidential candidate in my lifetime and even American history, she was a reflection of the Biden administration. She repeatedly spoke of turning the page and yet she was the page we were on—a page on which any rational American knew they could not survive another four years: catastrophic inflation, illegal immigration, and growing national security threats around the world from our enemies.
Tonight’s victory was even sweeter than 2016. It was a repudiation of the elite and ruling class. It was succinctly the greatest American triumph since the Civil War.
Power has been restored to the people via the vehicle of President Trump. The most powerful and corrupt government officials, politicians, bureaucrats, judges, military personnel, and news organizations did everything in their power to prevent Trump’s re-election and they lost. They went to war with America and lost. The American people rejected them.
Every living Democrat President—Carter, Clinton, Obama, and even Biden—campaigned for Kamala Harris. The media accused Trump of being Hitler. Obama condemned black men and called them sexist if they didn’t support Harris. Crooked generals and intel officials said Trump wasn’t fit to lead. Trump was called a dictator and his supporters smeared mercilessly. And Trump was said to be a ‘threat to democracy.’
Democrats colluded to relentlessly prosecute Trump—even succeeding in branding him a convicted felon. Never in American history have we witnessed such gross and lawless election interference and lawfare. And of course, Trump survived not one, but two assassination attempts—that we know of.
Yet, despite it all and against all odds, the American people prevailed. We showed up. We became courageous, bold, and resilient. We voted and made our voices heard and in doing so have wrested America from the control of usurping, anti-American radicals who celebrate our demise.
We have humiliated Cardi B and Beyonce and Taylor Swift and Oprah and Mark Cuban and the cadre of ignorant and robotic celebrities and other so-called elite who believed they possessed the power and influence to bend the American people to their will.
Once again the sun shines on America—the crown jewel of civilization. I hope you celebrate what you’ve done. We are the Patriots of ’24 as I deemed us in my book, America’s Last Stand. It was my hope in writing the book that I might explain and persuade the citizenry to embrace their role as the saviors of America in our time—to explain that this election was not merely the most important election in our lifetime but the third major test in our history, following the American Revolution and Civil War.
That said, we must not rest. Our fight continues. America is still in peril. But we’ve won an important and necessary battle. I am so proud of this country and all of you. Thank you for standing up and fighting. Thank you for meeting this challenge. Thank you for this victory.
In 2016 I was nobody. Just a relatively lost Hollywood actor. After 2020 I got engaged. I started my podcast, became a columnist, and eventually became a publicist for champions like Dr. Naomi Wolf, Dr. Ben Carson, Peter Navarro, Kari Lake, and Tulsi Gabbard, to name a few.
I’m not special and the only reason I write that is to tell you that I’m awake and fighting. We have a shared destiny. Every American deserves and needs the same thing—opportunity, prosperity, security. Democrats try to break us up, make us victims, and tell us we all have disparate needs. But we are one people, one nation, and united by our embrace of the Constitution, equality, and a belief that government is our servant not our master.
Celebrate what we’ve accomplished. It’s no small feat. But the war continues. Let’s now redouble our efforts and courageously and patriotically make America greater than it’s ever been before.
God bless all of you. I am so proud to be an American
This is an historic moment in American history and many freedom loving people around the world are celebrating with all Americans who voted for President Trump and freedom.
But, please, do not forget just what we are dealing with here, the most evil, heartless, soulless, treacherous, psychopathic monsters that will stop at nothing to bring down America.
So, remain ever vigilant and be prepared for anything the Deep State may try to overturn this amazing electoral result.
Meantime party on!
MAGA
Drew, thank you very much for such a powerful review of one of the most momentous moments in American history. Praises be to God for bestowing His mercy and Grace on us and the nation.
This is also only the prelude to the upcoming wars against the evil enemies of the Deep State, among the Democrats and the RINOs. We will be victorious if we seek help and guidance from Christ our Lord and God.
