How the Left Lost the Gun Debate

The gun grab cult is a menace to society. They seek to render those of us, who are law abiding, defenseless.

A horrific mass shooting occurred on Saturday at a mall in Allen, Texas. Eight people have been reported murdered and seven injured in the attack. We still don’t know the identities of the gunman or the victims. In fact, we don’t even have confirmation of what type of gun was used.

But none of the details ever mattered as far as the left and the media were concerned. A mass shooting took place and they unleashed their tired, parroted talking points. It’s the f*ucking guns!

The same intellectual lightweights and frauds are virtue signaling their compassion and concern for the dead; hurriedly rushing to exploit the latest tragedy to demand support for their inane gun agenda: ban the guns, restrict the guns, pass more laws to make it harder for people to get guns in the first place.

But it’s all histrionics.

California leads the nation in mass shootings, despite having the strictest guns laws in the entire country. But the left ignores this inconvenient reality and doubles down on its calls for the same failed policies to be applied nationwide.

It’s akin to the pandemic. Despite the fact that California instituted the strictest lockdowns and mandates, the state consistently led the nation in COVID deaths, hospitalizations, and cases. Free states like Florida, which lifted mandates and lockdowns, consistently fared the best. Even still, the lockdown cult doubled down, ignored reality, and claimed that lockdowns and mandates were effective.

Here we have the same blind, cult-like obedience to the gun narrative.

So too is the same tyrannical concept applied. Throughout the pandemic, even the young and healthy were treated like pariahs — walking time bombs intent upon contracting the virus and killing crowds of the old or vulnerable. Why should the young and healthy be sentenced to house arrest, when they were neither a threat to themselves or others? Both the sick and healthy, young and old, were all treated alike.

Here we have the innocent and law abiding being punished for the crimes of the mentally ill and evil. That’s what is really being proposed by the gun grab cult. A criminal murdered innocents with a gun, therefore the law abiding should be punished and his or her Right to bear arms sacrificed and taken away.

The gun grab cult is certifiably insane. Despite their loud, redundant calls to blame the guns and abolish the second amendment, they have lost the gun debate. This is because their entire argument is false, their data is cherry picked and manipulated, and their selective hysteria exposes them as frauds.

The left is fixated on banning AR-15s. Notably these same people can’t define a woman, but are self declared experts on the Armalite rifle. There were 173 murders committed with AR-15s between 2007 and 2017. That’s 17 a year. There are roughly 1,500 murders committed each year with knives.

The entire premise of the left’s gun grab argument is that we cannot tolerate a single murder with an AR-15. And yet there are roughly 80 times as many murders committed each year with a knife than there are with AR-15s.

Where are the calls to ban knives? I mean, if we can’t tolerate murder shouldn’t they be focused on banning knives, as well?

And while the left obsesses over the number of mass shootings in America and points to this as evidence that we have a gun problem in the United States, there have been more murders committed with knives in the gun-free U.K. than there have been murders committed in mass shootings involving guns in the gun loving U.S. this year.

In England and Wales there were 282 murders with knives just between January and March of 2023.There were 248 death in the United States through May from mass shootings.

The left doesn’t have a problem with murder, they only have a problem with guns. It is this selective outrage, which has ensured that no-one takes them seriously.

Roughly 100,000 American are dying each year from fentanyl overdoses; more, if you include other drugs or substances. The left doesn’t even feign outrage when American children die from fentanyl, which is smuggled into the U.S. through the open southern border.

In fact, the left continues to advocate for open borders and urges states to legalize the recreational use of hard drugs.

When an illegal immigrant — who had been deported four or five times — murdered his neighbors in Texas just last week, the left didn’t say a word about the fact that the mass shooter shouldn’t have been here in the first place. They didn’t blame the open border policy for the horrific mass shooting. They blamed the gun — acquired illegally, by a criminal, who had already violated the law by invading our country.

Even the emotional argument that guns are the leading cause of death in children is a manipulated talking point. The statement is only true if you include 18 year olds and exclude children under the age of one.

And who are all these mass shooters? They all seem to be Democrats, or otherwise suffer a mental illness, which can be directly traced to the ideology of the left. The shooter of a Catholic school in Nashville was transgender and left behind a manifesto that the FBI has kept hidden.

The Colorado gay nightclub shooter was non-binary, a term used exclusively by these embracing radical, left-wing gender theory.

The Louisville bank shooter used pronouns and was a radical anti-gun advocate, who hoped his murder spree could be used to confiscate guns.

We still don’t know anything about the latest mass shooter in Allen, Texas. But it’s irrelevant to the left anyway. It’s just “the guns.”

Yet the Allen mall was a gun free zone and it was an armed police officer — a good guy with a gun — who killed the mass shooter and stopped his rampage. The hero cop was already there answering an unrelated call.

America is a nation of guns. This is the reality. There are more than 300 million firearms in the United States. How are you going to get rid of them all? Are criminals going to hand them over?

The gun grab cult is a menace to society. They seek to render those of use, who are law abiding, defenseless. Most Americans understand this. They can scream all they want, but it’s an orchestra of the insane.

They have made America sick. Their policies and rhetoric and hatred are the root cause of the pandemic of violence and death in America. Getting rid of the Democratic Party is the only solution to our present crisis.

The gun grabbing cultists have exposed themselves as irrational lunatics. The more they scream, the more they’re ignored. This is how they lost the gun debate.
