America’s Last Stand: An Open Demand for Hard-Core Corrective Change
As Allen writes, destruction has been the central project of the modern Democrat Party.

America is in peril,” Drew Thomas Allen writes in his latest book, America’s Last Stand: Will You Vote to Save or Destroy America in 2024?. “The only debate is over why, who is responsible, and what must be done. Ignorance is largely responsible for America’s perilous present circumstance. Americans must shed their naive devotion to the perpetuation of the myths and lies of the past, present, and future and grow up.”
Allen couldn’t be more correct.

America’s Last Stand is a passionately written, spot-on-correct catalog of the abuses of our ruling class — the villains identified in the last column in this space who have put the continuation of our very existence as a country in doubt. Nothing is left unexamined, whether it’s the slavish commitment to the fantasy of anthropogenic global warming and the demand for ever more intrusive and tyrannical government to control our planetary thermostat, the destruction of our educational system, the weaponization of race, the sabotage of law and order and our judicial system, the full-frontal assault on the nuclear family, and countless other topics.
Allen notes that this destruction has been the central project of the modern Democrat Party, and he emphasizes the acceleration of the damage under the current regime of Joe Biden and his handlers. In this, he’s on the mark. I covered some of the same ground in my own latest book, Racism, Revenge and Ruin: It’s All Obama. But what America’s Last Stand makes clearer than any other political book you’ll read this year is how absolutely critical it is that voters turn out en masse for definitive, hard-core, corrective change.
“While the moral and decent rest, the amoral tyrant is the most active,” Allen writes of our ruling elite. “These despots—reincarnations of the Caesars and Napoleons, kings, dictators, and usurpers of both antiquity and even modern history—aren’t precluded from springing up amongst our own countrymen. While our Constitution and the noble ideals and even natural rights of freedom, self-governance, and equality provide a bulwark against the despotic ambitions of such men, no document or law can erase these poisonous flaws from infecting the hearts, minds, and souls of mankind.”
“And so nearly 250 years after our ancestors first rose up to break the abusive chains wrapped around their own necks by the monarchy of Great Britain and banish tyranny from this fertile land, the tyrant has boldly resurfaced and seeks to clap those very chains of slavery around our necks today,” Allen continues. “We will and must prevail because the reinstitution of tyranny in this great nation isn’t an option. We are Americans and it is our sacred duty to defend this nation from its enemies, both foreign and domestic.”
Can there be any doubt of the truth in that clarion call? The examples proving it are nauseatingly legion. Take, for example, our unqualified hack diversity-hire secretary of transportation, the obnoxiously gay Pete Buttigieg, who was asked on CNBC Tuesday about the flood of migrant invaders who the administration in which he serves has welcomed into the country. This was his answer:
This on a day when it was released that Buttigieg’s supposed boss, Joe Biden, has flown the equal of the population of Riverside, California, or Lexington, Kentucky, into the country from Latin American airports into 43 American cities as part of its facilitation of the migrant invasion. As Breitbart reports:
President Joe Biden is operating a “secretive flights” program to fly hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to the United States every year, according to records obtained by Todd Bensman at the Center for Immigration Studies.
The records, obtained by Bensman via a Freedom of Information (FOIA) lawsuit, show that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) imported 320,000 illegal aliens to the United States last year through the little-known flight component of Biden’s “CBP One” mobile app.
The migrant mobile app, Breitbart News has extensively reported, has allowed about 465,000 illegal aliens to schedule appointments at the United States-Mexico border for release into the United States interior from January 2023 through January 2024.
The app’s flight component has flown additional hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens into 43 American airports last year alone, Bensman reveals. DHS officials have refused to say which airports are being used to fly illegal aliens to the United States, admitting that revealing such information poses “operational vulnerabilities” because “bad actors” would attempt to exploit the program.
This kind of shameless, almost brutal, dishonesty is of a piece with the nonstop documentation in America’s Last Stand of the chronic lies set loose by Team Biden and their allies in the legacy corporate media, cultural institutions and the political class. He offers a dark picture of a post-American future if the coming election is decided in similar fashion to 2020. A frightening taste:
If Biden is reelected, energy costs will continue to soar as a result of his forced transition of the US economy away from fossil fuels, coal, and natural gas production. Americans can expect to find themselves even more financially vulnerable and desperate as they struggle to pay to heat and cool their homes and fill up their cars and trucks at the pump.
Bans on incandescent lightbulbs, set to go into effect in August of 2023, will be accompanied in the years that follow by bans on gas-powered vehicles and stoves. Life as you know it will be irreversibly altered and not for the better. Americans will find themselves looking back fondly on the days of expensive energy costs as they are confronted instead with energy shortages—an inevitable consequence of the Biden administration’s war on fossil fuel and natural gas. Energy rationing will ensue.
The eradication of fossil fuels appears to be the one campaign promise Biden is determined to keep. As a Democratic presidential candidate in 2019, Biden took the hand of a twenty-four-year-old climate activist and said, “Kiddo, I want you to look at my eyes. I guarantee you. I guarantee you. We’re going to end fossil fuel.” Four more years of Biden will be unsustainable for the US economy.
Warnings of de-dollarization—the movement away from the global use of the US dollar as the primary currency of exchange— will become a global economic reality. The move would devastate the US economy and create a historic crisis as the United States could no longer afford to run or even maintain its large deficit spending. Our borrowing costs would skyrocket, and we’d have less access to capital. The stock market values would plummet, and Americans would rapidly see their investments and retirement savings plunge. The ticking time bomb of our ever-increasing national debt would finally explode, and any hope of a long-term strategy to address Washington’s spending problem and minimize the inevitable suffering of the US taxpayer would evaporate.
But domestic economic destruction is only one guaranteed consequence of a second Biden term. The Biden administration isn’t only an existential threat to the US economy; it is also an existential threat to American national security.
The world itself has become a much more dangerous place under the Biden administration. Even as China has expressed open hostility to the United States, and even announced that war with the United States is inevitable, Biden has refused to decouple from China or acknowledge the threat the communist regime poses to the United States—both economically and militarily.
China’s invasion of Taiwan is not a matter of “if ” but “when.” Chinese president Xi Jinping has already mandated that China’s military be capable of taking Taiwan by 2027.
For the first time, the United States is facing not one, but two major nuclear powers—China and Russia. Iran may also soon become a nuclear power. Even after Russia invaded Ukraine, the Biden administration continued to allow Russia to act as the go-between for the United States in nuclear negotiations with Iran.
Retired four-star US general Jack Keane has warned that the United States is not prepared for a war with China. “We do not have an effective military deterrence in the region. China has more ships, more planes, and more missiles than the United States has,” Keane has said. Meanwhile, active four-star Air Force general Mike Minihan warned his commanders in a memo that armed combat between the US and China could be possible as soon as 2025.
Should China and the United States or Russia go to war, it’s not even clear that our European allies would support the United States or even if they remain traditional allies. This is because the Biden administration has also driven our once-reliable ally—Europe—into the bosom of China’s Xi Jinping. The French president Emmanuel Macron met with the Chinese president in Beijing in May of 2023, where the two leaders agreed to develop a stronger economic relationship. Macron also suggested that Europe should reduce its dependence on the United States and not become “America’s followers.”
The hour is getting late, and the American people must heed the warnings driven home in America’s Last Stand. The 2024 election will determine whether we will finally become serious about reforming our rotted governmental, cultural, and economic institutions, or if we will choose the offensive lies of those purveyors of “Our Democracy” and surrender our constitutional republic.
That is the choice before us. The public’s sentiment is trending toward the former position, which is why the ruling elite and the Democrat Party that predominantly houses them now is spewing so much bile on every media outlet they can. The villains are outing themselves, and they’re proving Drew Allen prescient.
